Send a correction or a question
One address, read by the people who write the pages. Corrections are the most useful thing you can send, and questions about a field that is not covered are the second most useful.
The address
Write to [email protected]. There is no form on this page, because a form would collect more about you than an email does and would not make the reply any faster. Mail is read by the same people who write the guides, and there is no ticketing system in between.
What makes a correction easy to act on
Corrections are the reason this address exists. The version that gets fixed fastest contains three things and nothing else.
- The page. The address of the guide, or its title if that is easier.
- The sentence. Quoted, so there is no ambiguity about which claim is being challenged.
- What is now true. Ideally with something anyone can check: a documentation page, a transaction, an account on an explorer.
That is enough to verify a change in minutes. Corrections without a source still get read and still get investigated, they just take longer, and where the desk cannot verify a claim either way the page stays as it is rather than being quietly edited to match an unverified report.
Questions about a field
If your panel shows a box that none of the field guides cover, send the label and the units it accepts. Anything that turns out to be common gets added, either to the relevant guide or to the questions page. This is genuinely useful: the fields people get stuck on are not always the fields an editor expects.
What cannot be answered is a question about a specific vendor's build, because this desk does not have accounts with tools and does not document individual products. The answer to a question of that shape is always the same and always unsatisfying: read the documentation, and if the documentation does not say what a cap counts or where the keys live, treat that silence as the answer.
Four things nobody here can do
- Recover funds. No transaction on Solana can be reversed, and anybody offering recovery for a fee is running the second half of a theft.
- Vouch for an operator. This desk has no way to audit who holds the keys behind a hosted service, and pretending otherwise would be worse than saying nothing.
- Tell you whether a run is worth doing. That is a judgement about your own budget and intentions, and it is not a question about a settings screen.
- Help with anything involving a key. No support conversation here will ever ask for a seed phrase, a private key or a keypair file, and any message claiming to be from this desk that does is not from this desk.
Press, corrections of record and takedowns
Use the same address and say what you need in the first line. If something published here is wrong in a way that matters, the correction goes on the page rather than into a footnote, and the page is dated so the change is visible. If you believe material here infringes something you own, describe the material and the claim precisely and it will be looked at promptly.
What happens to your email
Messages are read, kept while the matter is open, and deleted when it is closed. Nothing is added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list, and nothing is passed to anybody else. If your message becomes a question on the site, it is rewritten as a general question with no identifying detail attached.
